Here is my first attempt at a woodcarving using multiple pieces laminated together. I used Basswood, then painted it with oils. It is about 30 inches tall.
Here is a squirrel I finished a little while ago. It is about six inches tall, carved out of basswood, with a couple thin layers of oil paint on the surface. The Base is cast concrete.
Lately I’ve become more and more facinated with prehistoric animals. This sculpture is ceramic painted with oils. It is abour 7 inches tall and sits on top of a painted wood base.
